yeah but he's still going to release an update for non usb loaders, like us..
he said to me he will try and create a setting where its stored either on sd or something, like where you save your settings so soon as you launch the .dol it will auto launch without no config menu's etc..

Hopefully this 002 bollox cant be sorted

for wiikey v1 users simply replace the chip with a £1 YAOSM (or any other opensource code with 001 fix) and everything will be fine again.

Well there you go, no problems at all. I would have thought it strange that wiikey wasn't udpated when all the opensource chips are.

Any black screens are due to errors installing IOS55 imo.

Wonder if it will work with Forsaekn's CSM on unmodded wii...Will pm him to ask..

looks like the whole booting games from the disc channel thing pissed nintendo off...they changed BS2StartGame and IOSreload in some way that blocks the use of backup discs. If you have a modchip you're fine (for the most part), but for everyone else (including me) its a problem.

All this time I was wondering why the recovery menu I patched into 3.4 wouldnt boot discs when it turns out 3.4 doesnt boot backups at all. Im going to look into it further and see what they changed.

Fors

EDIT: Also, the changes I just mentioned are the cause of the #002 error some of you are getting...if I get this fixed then #002 wont exist anymore.

Can't you softmod geezerz just install IOS55 (or whatever it's called) then run a copy of freeloader(as long as sys menu is 3.2 or below), then boot the game without gecko ?

At least that should work for chip owners to make it region free.

OK...
I have a 3.2E Wii, changed to NTSC color system
D2CKey and that IOS55 installed (I installed with wad manager, is it right?)

So, when i load NFS by GeckOS, it gives mes 002, and in the disc channel the same error, but without the "Error - #002" and in a black screen...

Know what I need to do to play it? (Sorry if you're trying to discover it :S)

Yeh, freeloader. You can burn a copy to disc.

insert disc in the main menu (not disc channel), wait to it loads up then screen will go all 'wobbly', wait to it stops. Now eject it chuck in your NFS disc and it will run (as long as the ios55 wad has been installed)

D2PRO
3.2E downgraded from 3.3E

Tried a WIISOS version that had been cleaned with WiiScrubber 1.3.1.

Game appeared in the Disc Channel. But when I clicked on START was presented with Black Screen that locked up the WII. Had to eject disc and reset WII.

Had scrubbed version of SSBB to hand and tried that out immediately after reset and that worked fine.

ios51 is mii channel so update partition x (where x = the ios number)
x is now updated, patch it with ios51. Run trucha signer, burn ur wii and laugh and buy a god damn XBOX360!

I read this in anorther web->

LISTO, FUNCIONA PERFECTO
lo que hay que hacer es usar el IOSPATCHER y pasarlo a una ios 30! le pasais el wiibrickblocker y scrubber y listo, a jugar.
el juego no esta mal, es muy arcade, para amantes de los coches
