Hey guys!
FIXED! Just googled the device patent and from there found the driver.
My laptop got hit with a tough virus so i clean installed windows 7 again. (i'm running Windows 7 ultimate)
Everything went flawlessly except my laptop doesn't even know theres a wifi card built in, so as anyone i searched around for people with problems, unfortunalty, there was none. i came across the name of the Network controller.
CODE* Windows Description - Network Controller
* Hardware ID - VEN_10EC&DEV_8192&SUBSYS_815110EC&REV_01
* Device Category (Class) - Other devices
* Enumerator - PCI
* Detected Chip Vender - Realtek Semiconductor
* Detected Chip Device -
* Detected Vender - Realtek Semiconductor
* Detected Device -
* Device Status Flags - Detected, Unknown, Present, Not Phantom, Category Visable
using this i got the driver install from here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/downlo...p;GETDOWN=FALSE
and downloaded this one. Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1436514)
and it installed and everything, when it finished it restarted, didn't work, reran it, didn't work.
using windows driver finder i went to the driver in the driver setup, didn't find any.
using windows updater, didn't find any.
Help? I really wouldn't mind using the wireless network i pay $120/ month for.
Please reply ASAP,
Davess
