Gaming Network Controller Not Found.

Hey guys!
FIXED! Just googled the device patent and from there found the driver.
My laptop got hit with a tough virus so i clean installed windows 7 again. (i'm running Windows 7 ultimate)

Everything went flawlessly except my laptop doesn't even know theres a wifi card built in, so as anyone i searched around for people with problems, unfortunalty, there was none. i came across the name of the Network controller.

and downloaded this one. Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 Auto Installation Program (SID:1436514)

and it installed and everything, when it finished it restarted, didn't work, reran it, didn't work.

using windows driver finder i went to the driver in the driver setup, didn't find any.

using windows updater, didn't find any.

Help? I really wouldn't mind using the wireless network i pay $120/ month for.

Yeah they usually have a page dedicated to these sorts of drivers, chipset, bios, video drivers, hard-drive, fall-sensors, network controllers (For wifi and/or ethernet). Definitely start at the manufacturers page, look up your specific model & check the drivers section.

You can use the drivers from the manufacturers, although they will most likely be outdated. Or you can also add the device ID to the Realtek INF file, if you're sure that those are the right drivers.

I tried both, realtek and toshiba, with toshiba bearing no drivers.

I tried installing, with the error "This inf does not support this method of install" i'm going to unistall then reinstall it see what happens.

Sure you got the model number right with the toshiba? Those things can be annoying.
