How can I go back to the previous version? I tried replacing the nro but it didn’t work.


I just renamed the .nro, I think. I have both the latest version and an older version, so I just renamed the one I wanted to update.

I ran a few tests and found that setting the HW download mode to “Disable readbacks” actually results in a noticeable increase in frame rate and stability for some games. Check beforehand to see if this setting is recommended for a specific game or if it could cause problems
What are your OC settings?

I have a v1 Switch so I’ll start by testing everything with the standard v1 overclocking settings. There’s plenty of information online about how to get a game running in nethersx2 on lower-end Android devices by adjusting settings and, sometimes, using performance cheats. This is usually a good starting point, but the settings for the Switch often need to be even more aggressive (for example higher cycle skip than recommended). A lot of times Pal versions are also running more stable and performative.

More important than the frame rate is ensuring that the game logic runs at full speed. Once this is achieved, you can play with higher cpu and ram clock settings for a higher frame rate or, whether or not the GPU can be underclocked without losing performance.

I would recommend sticking with version 1.2.2 for now, since gaming performance is better in that version in most cases.

it definitley does , there are some ee and vu settings that can help you out games area all different with these settings so you gotta toy around a bit , also the emulated clock speed is a good option

Yes, the cycle rate can actually make a difference. However, this only applies to games that don't put too much strain on the emulated clock and have some leeway. But that's easy to check online. As a last resort, you could also lower the frame rate limit. However, this causes errors in some games, and cutscenes are always out of sync, which is why I would only use this option as a last resort

you could also turn the frame rate mhz down to 30 if its 60 even 25 if it will work for you .

i went from not having here comes the pain loading at all to now its too fast :rofl:
 
Was able to get Xenosaga 1 running by importing a save from PCSX2. Runs decently during exploration but runs around 10-15fps in combat.

It loads the original Android emulator core, patches it and runs it.
It's basically as if we emulate a minimalist Android environment in which we natively run the original Android binary as is.
