Are there any emulators that support network play (LAN/Online)? Or are there any emulators that have plans for network play in the future? I think it'd be an incredible feature and i've played some emulators on my computer online and playing against humans is much better than computers [IMG]

Currently net play has not been integrated into any emulator for the wii.

Thanks for that link Jacobeian, I had no idea that Frodo had netplay integrated into it.

You have some statistics about the frodo network play here:

    http://c64-network.game-host.org/~ska/stats.html

so it's used, but perhaps not a roaring success. How well it works depends on latency and bandwidth. As a rule of thumb, playing on the same continent should be OK, but between continents the latency is simply too high,

prob not a roaring success cos it's a c64 emulator not many peeps want to play c64 and there's not really that many good games to play each other against. if it was snes or nes though it would take off like a rocket

Someone should really experiment the snes netplay, I would try it but I don't have my wii with me.
