Homebrew nesDS on an R4i-SDHC Upgrade v.1.4.2 (reflashed to 1.4.4)?

On an R4i-SDHC, nesDS (latest version) does not load. I have multiple file loaders on the card, including: Moonshell, DSOrganize, Drunken Coders' HBMenu, "Carga Super Mario Galaxy" (the program that comes with the beta homebrew of Super Mario Galaxy for DS), and the default "Game" menu on the cart's kernel.

None of them work. All I get is a white screen.

I've read on Google I need to reformat, but while I'm backing up files in the case I need to reformat, I just want to know...
Is there any other way?

EDIT: Whoops, forgot the specs...
2GB Kingston- formatted to FAT16
Nintendo DSi v1.4.4
R4i-SDHC- UPGRADE v1.4.2
Latest firmware

EDIT2: I've reformatted to FAT32, same results...
