Hacking Nes Controller, zapper power pad in wii

Hello, I bought one of those cables that plugs into the gamecube port on the wii and allows you to use a nes controller on the wii, I was wondering if emulators like fce will give support to the nes controller, zapper, power pad. I can use the nes controller to some degree, but the start button always goes bacl to the menu. Thanks for all your help.

The zapper kind of depends on old TV technology; if you still have a CRT, it may or may not work, but otherwise it's simply incompatible by way of the laws of physics.

Like VagueRant said above, however all the latest emus do support the wiimote as a zapper/superscope/justifier/etc
