rev13b actually does the 002 fix the same way as Gamma with 002 fix. Both(rev13b and Gamma with 002 fix) are not compatible with some games because of that 002 fix.

Get rev13a and NeoGamma, then you don't get 002 and most games are playable.

Sorry i decided to not reply anymore to posts that only tell that something does not work, without providing more information, and especially all information that could be important.

WiiPower,

Can you tell me what stuff I need to compile NeoGamma and what to change to make it autoboot but access the menu holding down "1"?

Does rev13b do it's 002 fix even if the loaders already fixed it? Just wondering if I should downgrade back to rev13? Oh and the IOS reload block, is that wishful thinking (hoping someone else will make a cIOS that implements it) or a work in progress?

Yes, stick to rev13 if using a newer loader

Next public beta test:

Please report if any menu option does not work as it did before, or if the config is not stored

Changes to R3:
- Changed how the game entries are sorted
- Added IOS Reload when trying to mount a wbfs device (from 7th try on) to increase compatibility with enclosures and HDDs
- Changed sd and sdhc card handling, hopefully fixed the corruped config file bug with this
- Refuse to load a config with 1 or more option out of range
- Moved game selection to main menu

Hi wiipower.

I am on 3.2U running rev12, This rev detects my HD fine but only few games works such zelda, ballon pupper, wii music but mojority (animal crossing, ar you smarter the a 5th grader, wii ski) will try to start and then just get an error masage to shut down my wii and read the mannual etc. Does this have tanything to do with not haveing 13a installed? TY

read the readme and noticed that red steel and ssx should work

of course i tried it without patching them to ios 249 and guess what

did not work.

and it did not work from the usb drive and i have rev 13a installed

so i guess farcry and sam and max won't work either.

i tryed it on the first neo and the neo public beta.

the first neo is far more better for playing from the usb drive because the neo public beta dont work with a lot of games.

for that it's a good loader.

Hey WiiPower, I wanted to let you know that none of the options to get the hard drive working in the readme file worked, it used to on older cios like -10 but i want the usb support thats why i want 12+, you said to report that to you in the readme, geexbox freezes at the startup so i wasn't able to see if that works. All the methods you mention do work like maybe 1 out of every 4 tries, its not one specific method that works, they just all don't work most of the time and all do sometimes. hope u can figure it out

Thanks. To be clear, NeoGamma is just not comatible with rev12, with rev9,10 and 13 it should work.

So you are saying that whenever you plug in the drive in the wbfs mounting process, the HDD gets detected in 1 out of 4 times. And everytime you try to use your HDD in geexbox it freezes?

If that's it, i think it's a drive/enclosure problem.

no no, its not that, i'm on rev 13, i meant that i don't want to use anything lower than rev 12 because i have a lan adapter, thats what i meant by "12+". Also, i havent been able to try geexbox because it freezes right when i open it at the loading screen, so i havent even been able to try mounting anything, i'm trying to figure out whats wrong with it now but i figured it out yet. I have a MyBook (i think Essential) 640GB. And around 1 out 4 seems right, but all the methods have worked at some point, i don't think that there's one thats better than the other.

Edit: Sorry, i'm an idiot, it's been in the wrong port this whole time, i thought that the bottom port was the other port because my wii was flipped the other way, and i assumed that it was the right one because it worked sometimes but not other times, i thought if it was wrong it would never work at all. Now the only problem is that if i leave a game i loaded from the usb and go back to the home menu, then back to the loader to load a different game from the usb, it doesn't load and i have to restart my wii, i see other people have this problem with other loaders as well.
