Not to sound noobish, how would I set up a NeoGamma.cfg with these settings:

Force video to the Wii's Region
Ocarina ON with ossleepthread hook

every time I try to make R8 RC1 save the cfg, it never does, so I'm hoping that if it's already on the sd card, it works

thanks ahead of time

P.S I also want to use this with xflak's autoboot mod as well, either PM me or post in here! thanks again

@Wiipower

just curious but how would one change the text colour in Neogamma's GUI?

I can vouch that there's an issue with Brawl (and B+) with the loader. I used a standard 2 gig memory card that even has videos and snapshots saved on it. While Neogamma can load in all the codes, once the game begins to play, the Wii acts like there's no trace of SD card, what-so-ever. Essentially, that means you can't save snapshots, videos, or do any of the standard file-replacement things, since they access the SD card after the game begins to find the data.

Any word on when there might be a fix for this, or should I deal with it through other (Less satisfying) means?

Oh, and this is when loading via USB. I won't be able to test things out with my retail disc until later today.

For me this issue only occurs in Brawl+, cIOSrev17, tried with beta17 and RC1.
Have you tried changing the IOS and the hooktype? I had the same problem, and I believe I got it to work with IOS 36 [the one GeckoOS uses] and Joypad.

@WiiPower
Is there any possibility for a new version of GameCube Launcher with the release of cMIOS v5?
I've tried 0.2 with MIOS v10 and none of the games work..

Hi !
Do you know if Wiimote hang down just about 30 sec after loading a games (except very old games or NSSB) is caused by bad IOS installation or Neogamma's not working very well ?

I've tried both now, and also with an original copy of Brawl. Any other IOS results in a code dump, currently, and the change from VBI to Joypad hooktype has made no difference.

Edit: And I just double checked, the codeset and memory card work perfectly fine using Gecko, via the default settings. Have you modified your IOS 36? If so, to what? I'll try reinstalling the standard one later, to make sure I have one that hasn't been messed with.

are there any official channel?
yeah check this

well, after reading the details, it sounds like its actually my autoboot mod of wiipower's neogamma in the channel and that has been thoroughly tested

(i'm assuming its my mod because he says thanks to WiiPower and to me in the download details, cheers for that btw)

I tried to change to rev 14 and that's the same odd issue. And try to format SD card too/reinstall all (neogamma and cIOS). I don't really know where is the solution.

RC2:
- Changed force cIOS code, see rebooter options. If it still doesn't work, i won't do anything about it.
- Changed some output. If it's glitchy or wrong, please tell
- Added some gamecube option:
MIOS is the old behaviour, internal is booting WiiGator's GC Backup Launcher(it's included in the NeoGamma .dol, which is why it's bigger now), external boots NeoGamma/GC.dol as GC homebrew if a GC disc is booted

TODO:
Store force cIOS and Gamecube Mode options

PS: The included GC launcher will ONLY work if the loader works if booted normally

So now with RC2 we don't need GC Backup Launcher anymore?

That's the low goal of this. I hope that running the GC Gecko OS* with via the external mode works to allow cheats on retail discs. Also it makes GC Loader development easier if anybody wants to pick that up.

*I tried to find it, but only found a crappy .zip with 3 crappy .isos for use with crappy modchips!
