If you're using cIOS249 rev 14, why not just use the normal cIOS249 rev 14 and not cIOS199 rev 14? Does cIOS199 rev 14 have fixes like the dual layer bug fix over cIOS249 rev 14? It doesn't really make sense to me since NeoGamma works good with cIOS249 rev 14 already.

This is 249 installed as 199 neogamma\triiforce is directed to use slot 199 insted of 249. This give you an option of using 249-rev15\16 installed as 249 with other applications.

Okay.

Ummm, are any other applications capable of using rev 15/16 without running into the various issues? I still don't see the point of using a separate cIOS over cIOS249 rev 14 or even rev 13a. What's the real benefits of doing it like that?

Should not have any probles as they are using different ISO slots. GX-USB etc, DVD dumpers. DL was fixed in rev15.

Okay then, thanks for explaining it.

Let's hope rev 17, if there is going to be a rev 17, will have those issues addressed once and for all.

PS: I should start using svn for NeoGamma as well, stupid trying out stuff
PPS: I should facepalm myself, this is not going to work, because the IOS to use is stored in the config
PPPS: Now it should work

how is this different than wiichopx's neogamma cios199 mod? which one should i use?

This version uses IOS199 if you have a config file from NeoGamma, the other most likely not.

Does the support of Brawl+ also means that the limit of the number of lines of cheat codes is increased for any games, in general ?

Thanks !

Nope. The important change was the gameconfig.txt parsing. In that file, you can define what memory area to use for Ocarina/Wiird for a specific game. And for Brawl, there's a memory area known(?) to be not being used.

I can´t play gamecube games, when I press R it gives me a green screen and when I press A the screen gets blue and without signal.
I use NeogammaforCIOS199, cIOS199 and cIOSrev16 from waninkoko.

I found this issue to share

Either this or use a Mac. It's backup system "Time Machine" will let you restore all the past versions because it stores them on the backup drive. You can then browse your filesystem exactly like it was yesterday or 2 weeks ago.

Hi again people!

NeoGamma R8 beta17 for cIOS199 (rev14)

Link: [Download NeoGamma R8 beta17]
Source: [Get the sourcecode]

This stuff is for people who wants to update to the latest cIOS from Waninkoko (cIOS38 rev16) without losing NeoGamma's functionality
cool.gif
! ...

Remember, you need the xflak's cIOS199 rev14 to make it work:
[Download cIOS199 rev14]

@ WiiPower: You should make an option about "cIOS Selection" on the app (cIOS249 or cIOS199). In this way, people can choose which cIOS are going to use to run NeoGamma

! ... I'm not the only one who has that idea on his mind:

That sounds win-win to me

QUOTE(ChokeD @ Jan 7 2010, 04:03 PM) Very, Very good idea. I second that notion. That would be very nice, then everyone could just grab it here instead of waiting for this guy or that guy to compile a suitable version for themselves. 1 size fits all kinda deal.

I hope you can consider the request for that type of functionality.

See ya!

So, eh... it got kinda hard to follow now.

Are we supposed to install cIOS 199 now to get NeoGamma running good?

If so, what version, I saw there was some cIOS 199 mod, or a regular one?

Maybe someone can flesh it out a bit for us slow ppl (at least I am).
