Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550/2.83GHz FSB1333 12MB
4x Kingston DDRAM 2GB 800MHz DDRII PC-6400
MSI VGA N260GTX-T2D896 896MB PCI-Express DDRIII TVO DVI
DVD+-R/RW/DL/R/LS AD-7201S-0B INT +20X8X12X
SEAGATE HDD 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB SATA II
Asus TV TunerCard with HW PMEG2 Analog PCIe

Total Price (all included):
€921,76

(I got original cd and licenses for VISTA Home Premium and XP Professional)

My question is, does the Hardware / Price fits?
I don't game on my PC, but i want a descent PC that can run HDef rips (720p/1080p) without a problem and the pc must
be a few years future proof

I'm no whizz with computers (And nor do i understand most of the stuff above) but i'm sure you'll need more than a 250GB HDD, especially if you want to "Future Proof" it. Everything else sounds great....

When you want to future proof something, you probably want to get a good motherboard.

Since DDR2 is already at the beginning of the end of being it the standard, I'd get a DDR3 capable board.

8GB RAM and a Quadcore are definately future-proof.
But I would put way more HD space in your PC, especially if you plan to store those HD rips on your PC.
A Terabyte is around 100 euros now, so you could give that a try.
