Hacking Need help?

So I'm using YSMenu on my R4 for GBA ROMs because I despise GBA ExpLoader. But every time I load a hacked ROM, such as Shiny Gold X or Liquid Crystal, it doesn't load.
Can anyone tell me why it's happening, and, if possible, how to fix it?

What's that? Do I do it to the ROM?

Could you please explain more in-depth? I'm a novice at this kind of stuff.

uh sure....well yes you have to patch the rom itself.unless you already patched it then you have no need.

So on gbatemp search for gbata. after you found it then download it.

after that extract it using winrar or something

then open it up click on the sram tab load your rom then click patch

it should come out as the file name but with the word output before it

Thanks for all the help, but sadly my problem is still not yet solved. Here's a video of what is happening:



Pokemon Emerald seems to work fine, but when I try Liquid Crystal, that happens.
0:00 - 0:32 - Showing that Liquid Crystal doesn't work.
0:32 - 0:55 - Showing that Emerald runs perfectly.

I 'am pretty sure that something is wrong with the rom. didu uses a fire red rom? Because my liquid crystal works fine

Yes, I used a Fire Red ROM. Could it be happening because I'm using an R4? D;

I'm using an R4, EZ-Flash 3in1, and YSMenu.
