Hacking Need help with putting cheats on

ok so i need help this is what i do 2 get cheats on my ez flash put it wont work
what i do 2 put cheats on my ez flash v but it doesnt work

Update your kernel (1.86 stable is good enough but you can try a beta if you like)

Aside from some aspects of the new beta the cheat capabilities are limited by the resetsp.bin, fortunately it is updated quite often. Yesterdays update:

Head on down to the GBAtemp cheat database:

Nowadays the EZ5 is supported so you should not need to convert to anything.
Copy it across to the EZ5 and replace the old one (there is an update program you can run from your DS but we will leave that for now).

load up the EZ5 and on the left (assuming stock skin) will be a red or blue circle 2 down. For cheats it needs to be blue.

Try and launch a game, the cheat menu should then pop up. If it does not go to the options menu (the tools 2 up from the bottom of the screen assuming stock skin) and change the cheat type.

ok i did that but the thing i change 2 blue is still orange and still wont change 2 blue and nothing looks driffernt also do i jut copy and paste the stuff thats in the kenral i downloaded ?
