Android Need help with lockscreen

I set a pattern lock, and I rememebr it entirely, so I can still get into settings, but well.... I don't want it anymore. I can't seem to find anyway to remove screen locks entirely and just revert back to Honeycomb's defualt lock icon drag thing.

How do I revert back to the default lockscreen after already selecting another method?

Go to Settings -> Location & security -> Set up screen lock -> None

No such button as "Set up screen lock" there.

The setting should be under the same section where you enabled the screen lock in the first place. Just set it back to "None" and you'll revert back to default.

Again, it's not there. The only "Configure Lock Screen" button let's you change the pattern, not select a different type of lock screen, much less remove it.

Acer Iconia Tab A100 (amazing device, runs N64oid flawlessly), and I'm new to Android stuff, I have no clue what ROM means in that sense.

Alright, Acer Iconia Tab should be running stock Honeycomb... and since you don't know what ROM is I doubt you'd have a customized ROM.

Anyways, have you tried going into Configure Lock Screen and just leaving a blank pattern? I don't see why the option to switch it otherwise would not be there. =/

Well then if you are in a regular Honeycomb rom it should be in Settings -> Location & security -> Configure lock screen . Inside somewhere there should be a none/normal option or some sort of check box to disable it . If there is no such thing inside then you might want to list the options you get inside as every company changes some stuff in there android version .
