I am thinking about starting a new project for Homebrew.

I want to start developing an Android Emulator for WiiU, I don't even know if its possible yet, I am still doing my research.

I am looking for people to join my team for Homebrew Development, not only with the Android Emulator idea. Also, I am registered and approved for the Nintendo Development Program, so I have full access to the legit updated version of the Cafe SDK, among all of the other official Nintendo tools and resources. And you will also have access to everything I do, I can add you as a developer under my Nintendo Developer Account.

I haven't really used the Cafe SDK yet, I only just scratched the surface. Is it possible to test the Apps created with the Cafe SDK without a dev kit? Or can I use a Wii U with CBHC CFW? If not, then Ill get a DEV Kit.

Well good luck with that my friend because first of all if you use any of the official nintendo tools to create homebrew you will end up with Nintendo suing your ass as it clearly states in the rules that you receive when you sign up for the Nintendo Development Program that the tools can not be used for homebrew.

Secondly you have no hope in hell in getting android running decently on the Wiiu.

Yeah, I figured that. I heard the Cafe SDK isn't really good for homebrew anyway.

But I can still build legit apps and games with it.

As for Android on the WiiU, I seen a few weaker systems run an Android Emulator. Not a console, but smaller devices.

They are only legit if you submit them to Nintendo for sale on the Eshop. If you put them on the internet then you would be in a shit load trouble. But yes you could build stuff for yourself without getting into trouble.

As for Android yes it can be run on weaker systems but how many of them are power pc based??

Very true. Most of them are just running a barebones Linux distro, and Android is based on Unix/Linux, so it makes sense.

So I'm better off without the Cafe SDK. If I want to develop homebrew anyway.

Legally yes you would be much better off not using any official nintendo software lol.
