Need help with buying modded switch

I found someone selling a modded nintendo switch, with android and laka but he said that it can no longer open the main nintendo system, i really don’t understand much about the modded version, so i don’t know what it means?!
I need help

Don't if you want to play nintendo games. I assume the nand (switch's internal storage with Horizon OS) has got corrupted (probably unrepairable). But since you can use other OS's from sd card, that console could still be of some use.
