I'm trying to put my own .avi videos on my old 2ds. I put it in the right folder on the sd card, the name is in the HNI_(number) format, the video is under 10 minutes, but it just won't play. Everytime I put the sd card back in, it just comes up with "There are no photos or videos". If I record a video using the 2ds, it shows up just fine. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you, but that’s what I’ve been using all along. I got it to work *one* time, with one video, but no others. I also tried using a downloadable conversion program, but that didn’t do anything either. I’m convinced it’s a problem with the 2ds itself.

Do you see a screen pop up in the Nintendo 3DS Camera list when viewing the photos that says "now updating management page. please wait"?

Hey so, I've actually found an alternative app to use, and it works just fine. Thank for your guy's help anyways
