Op you missed the point.
Use bannerbomb v2 to load the hackmii installer, install HBC and bootmii, make a bootmii nand backup. Then install ios60-v6174, then install system menu v4.1u, then install priiloader. Now it is fixed.


I thought everyone knew bbv2 worked on 4.0-4.2, well it does.

i cant get anything to read off the sd card. when i go to settings, data management, channels, sd card, the message doesnt come up. it shows a file with a "?" on it

Are you using bannerbomb v1 or v2?

v1 is launched by opening Wii options->Data management->Channels, then switching to the SD card tab.
v2 is launched by going to the SD Card Menu.

In both cases, the SD card cannot contain any channels aside from bannerbomb. If you stored your channels on the SD or used the SD Menu previously, you need to rename the "private" folder, then make a new one that contains ONLY the bannerbomb files.

Hi I have 2 wii's but one was givin to me that dose not work the person that gave it to me said he bricked it and that he uninstalled all or some of the ios's off of it by misstak useing some homebrew app called delete ios. Is there any way to fix it? It wont even boot up just has a black screen on start up. Is there a way to install ios's back on it?

Do I have to have infectus installed on that wii thow? Is infectus a modchip or a cios?It did not have infectus. He said it did have bootme but now it wont work my be because of missing ios's.

Infectus is a modchip of a sort that can also be used to directly program the internal flash memory of the wii. It takes skill to be able to use it. But a wii is only repairable if the wii has the capability to install bootmii into boot2, it has a nand backup, or at the very least the keys were dumped.
