Hacking Need help to install rxtools with my FW 4.2 and R4i Gold Deluxe

Hi, I have read lots of tutorials posts from here and www, the more I read the more confused I am.

I am requesting a straight and easy-to-follow instructions install Rxtools with the items below:

1. 3DS XL (FW 4.2.0-9U)
2. R4i Gold 3DS Delux Flashcart http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/NjAwWDc1NQ==/z/KHEAAOSwPcVVkDdL/$_27.JPG

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Am I able to use my r4i card to substitute the gateway card for the same steps? I read it that r4i could be used same as gateway.

Yes, I read it too and in fact that two tutorials above requires no flashcard.

In the mean time, I remember I read it somewhere (maybe I have been reading and googling it too much), that it will make it much more easier and simple with a flashcard. I am trying to do as little steps as possible, you know the more steps involved more chance of screwing up


Another question is if I format my SD card as FAT32, then how could I put .cia that is higher than 4gb and then inject?
