Hacking need help to install d2x on softmod wii

My wii console use:

* homebrew
* ios 236
* cIOS rev20

i used hometeckman tutorial from

Here's your guide, by the way:
Download d2x cIOS Installer v3.1.zip and extract it into /apps/ on your sd card.
Download d2x-v10-beta53-alt.zip, rename it to d2x-v10-beta53-alt.7z and extract it to /apps/d2x-cios-installer on your sd card.
Download DOP-Mii v16.zip and extract /DOP-Mii v16/apps/DOP-Mii/ to /apps/DOP-Mii/ on your sd card.
Start your Wii and navigate to the Homebrew Channel
Start DOP-Mii
Install IOS 36 with all patches to slot 236 *
Return to the Homebrew Channel
Start the d2x Installer and select IOS 236
Install d2x v10 r53 with base IOS 56 into slot 249 *
Install d2x v10 r53 with base IOS 57 into slot 250 *
* instructions are on the screen
Now you're done. Almost every game should run flawlessly with any up-to-date USB loader. Hit me up if you need any more help.

can i use this install guide after installing cios rev20 already?

You can install d2x over your current cIOS, it overwrites the old one, just make sure it's in the same slot.

Also, keep your questions in 1 thread, spamming the same question in multiple threads will not give you a any faster answer.

should i install ios 36 or not?


i did install ios 236 through homebrew.. look at youtube video at 4:20

found on google ,,

" 20 maj 2013 - IOS236 is a patched version of IOS36 that makes installation of other IOSes easy, even if the other IOS slots are filled by stubs already. See the ..."

so ios 236 is patched ios 36 .

Should i skip step 6 or (installing ios 36) considering ive already installed ios236 eariler ...please, someone ?

in short...if it's installed you can skip it. if it's not installed, you wouldn't be able to select it in step 8.
