Ok so I was kind of being stupid with my modded dsi by trying to update it. I was doing this because in the setting of my dsi there is not data management setting and I wanted to delete something. Now when I turn it on an error message appears and I can't do anything. When I take out my sd card it boots to the unlaunch program which I can use to access the dsi home screen. I heard that a nand back up can fix the issue and I have one but don't know what to do with it. Does anyone any solutions? I dont want to take the dsi apart but will do it as a last resort. By the I am new to moding and use thw dsi guide site to learn how to mod it.

Just redo the steps to install hiyacfw, the "brick" is only on the SD card, the dsi is fine, don't worry ;), anyways that error is usually shown when you're using an sdcard bigger than 2 GB, you can try to put random stuff in the card (to fill space) to see if it manages to boot, otherwise make it boot directly twilightmenu

Thanks for the advice but I have came to a bit of an issue. I was trying to install hiyacfw agian and the error message "distutils.errors.DistrutilsFileError: cannot copy tree 'DSi - CFW users\SDNADA root' : not a directoty" pops up and wont finish installing. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?
