Gaming need help playing smash brawl original disk

I recently updated my wii from 4.0u to 4.2u with the simplistic offline guide.
everything went good untill I tried to play the original disk of super smash brawl.
I gave modded over 20 wiis with this guide and never had a problem untill now.

I have the current settings maybe someone could help me out.
4.2u with bootmii as boot2
cios 38 rev17 as cios 249 and 250
cios 202,222,223
preloader rev51
I have corps v3.6 installed also


if anyone has any idea of what may be wrong let me know thanks

Does it play in a loader such as Neogamma? If not, then I think your Wii has a dirty lens. Buy the official lens cleaning kit and try to clean the lens. That should fix it.

but the dirty lens problem would that cause only smash brawl not to work?
cuz I can play any other game no problem even burnt games are fine.

It will cause problems with any DL game, of which there are only 2: smash bros and Metroid Prime Trilogy

Brawl is one of the few dual-layer disk games.
Any dual-layer disk games wont work if your lens isn't freakin' pristine and cleaned by trained monks every 10 minutes.
Yes, exaggeration. But really, the lens gets dirty real easy.

EDIT: Or you could read the post above that says the exact same thing. *should read replies more*

I know there is only 2 dual layer games but I have 4 wiis playing this game just not the one so Ill give it a try and see what happens.

Also can I use a DVD lens cleaner or is it a special wii lens cleaner?
