Hacking Need help picking out a DS flashcart

I have a new 2dsxl with luma CFW 11.8 I have been looking into getting a flashcart that plays nds Roms and I am so confused about it all. I’m looking for one that doesn’t have a timebomb and is fairly user friendly. ANY help is appreciated I have tried researching and the more I read the more confused I get about which one to pick.

Timebombs are easy to bypass. Either by YSmenu or by changing the date.
But if you don't want such flashcard anyway, go for r4i gold.

Keep in mind timebomb doesnt mean itll break, its just something the manufacturer does to sell newer models for more money by making stop working when it detects a certain date. so by using YSMenu theres no date restriction.

That, like all the ones made by r4isdhc.com, have time bombs.

You can fix it with the YSMenu kernel. I can see how this would be a very appealing option if you were to buy two or more DS flashcarts for multiple family members.

If you're only getting one for yourself and no one else, I recommend spending the extra $15 for the far more superb R4i Gold 3DS Plus.

Dual core and gold all have timebombs. But I am using YSmenu and everything is fine. It is also supported by NTRBoot.

Don't buy any cart from the R4i-SDHC(R4iSDHC) team as they are all literally the same cart. The R4i Gold Plus is the best cart on the market as it provides not only a cart without a timebome in the kernel, but also a means of hacking any 3DS at the flick of a switch.

I thought the official recommended site by GBATemp was nds-card.com? Anyways, I bought a R4i Gold 3DS on it last year. I'm very satisfied with it and the site. You can't buy that one anymore, but there's an updated version available for the same price which includes a NTRBoot switch (not that you'd need that, seeing you've already hacked your 3DS)
