Hacking need help installing GeckoOS

I have homebrw channel on my wii and I'm trying to get my copy of Tatsunoko vs capcom to work. When i start my Home brew channel i have a lil gecko icon on the bottom right, but it is not highlighted? When i choose the GeckoOS app i get a message that reads " not a valid wii app" I'm not sure whats going on? would you guys be able to help me out.

Try downloading it again and from somewhere else

The "little gecko" icon is not Gecko OS. Reinstall Gecko OS to your SD and try again.

The little Gecko icon at the bottom right seems to be for GeckoUSB. As for your GeckoOS app not working, make sure it is in the correct path and make sure it is in the format of DOL rather than ELF.

tried using the main.DOL file and GeckoOS doesn't even pop up on the apps window? How would i go about installing it, would i just use twilight hack? I have firmware 3.4 by the way

You still need a boot.dol to execute an app in the HBC.
