So the cia version apparently doesnt save
and the .3ds version doesnt change the language with GW

(does anyone know if Hans or NTR supports the gateway card for language changing)

Ok.. question. I have a Jap n3ds w/ gateway 10.4emunand. I installed this and I tried using the gateway menu to select ENGLISH as language, as I am able to do with yoshis new island.. how can I go about changing the language to english, since my system language is in Jap as it is a Jap n3ds?

If we have Gateway and their force language doesn't work, can we load the .3ds through the red card and then open it through HANS?

I have never used hans.. what about NTR? would a english language file thing work via ntr for this patched-game?

What's with people saying that the CIA version can't save? Mine saved just fine, I just turned my 3DS off and on again, launched the game and could continue just fine. The only weird thing I experienced was the "Spotpass data is invalid" error or something, but that didn't seem to do anything to my save file. Using rxTools with RX-E 10.4.0-29

I would love to help but at work.
As for getting the language to work.
If your on gateway, boot up hans and you should be able to select the cart still.
I dont know much about NTR, but if it has a way to force a game to run a certain language then it should.
But the game reads based off your System Lang.

For some reason it says the extra data is invalid and you'll lost your save if you exit. What exactly 3DS are you on? A japanese one?

HANS works perfectly!!!! I had never used it but it seems quite straight forward..have game selected.. boot into HBL .. select HANS.. Change to ENG.. then OK.. all set, thank you!!

Good to know it worked
Just be aware if your on n3ds, you do not get the new3ds benefits when using hans.

HANS is available under the 3ds folder in the homebrew starter kit

European o3DS. And I just read in your thread on that iso site that apparently it can't save only midbattle? That might be why mine saved, I didn't try saving midbattle, it saved automatically after finishing Hyrule Field.
