I would love if someone could assist me. I had a former landlord mod my Wii U for me several years ago. I'm not sure why I let him do it, I had been modding consoles/jailbreaking phones for years, but he was sort of condescending regarding my ability to do it myself and that combined with characteristic laziness of mine...I figured why not? Since then I've moved, lost the SD card he used on my device, and now I realize how foolish it was to let someone else do it for me. I don't know which method he used, and as mentioned my SD card is no where to be found. I can't see anything homebrew related on my home-screen and there's no "Don't touch me" icon I see so many mention in forums. What do I do? I have a kid now and got to thinking how great it would be to play some of the more toddler friendly games with her now that she's 4. From what I'm seeing online I could brick my console if I attempt to reformat the system and start again? The games we had installed after the mod run fine so I imagine even without the card inserted and no visible homebrew anywhere on my system that I can find my system is still modded regardless of my recent update to the latest firmware? If I can't reformat the system could I recreate the SD card without knowing what method was used? Really I just want to install more games but I'm at a bit of an impasse and don't want to brick my system.
