Gaming Need For Speed: Most Wanted U

Got my paws on this game today. I have yet to see Watch Dogs, eyes to screen but I swear, Need For Speed is BEAUTIFUL! A few things...

-No split screen LOCAL multiplayer is a disappointment.
-Motion steering seems overtly sensitive
-Analog stick turning doesnt seem as responsive or sharp
-I LOVE how every Wii U compatible controller (minus GameCube, too early for the adapter) is supported.
-I LOVE how you can change your button configuration. WTF happened to this in gaming?

I can imagine so, I had fun with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 on the PS2! If I weren't dirt poor, I'd get this in a heartbeat... Ah well, maybe I can find it in a bargain bin

Very nice. Smooth as butter. The controls take a bit to get used to, but it's nothing game-breaking.

There isn't too much of a "story mode." It's mostly missions scattered throughout the world.
As far as content goes, I wouldn't say it has an incredible amount, but the real reason to play it is to crash into cops, get them to chase you through a city and call the SWAT team.

Nope!
I really do like the open world, though. I especially love the hidden warp pipes.

Ah yes, the GameCube days, when CEL-shaded cartoon-y graphics slightly improved shadow rendering and Nintendo thought the future of HD was blur, not bloom

Certainly! It will likely be a little while, though. Like I said, I'm broke, I'd be using the last $20 cash I have (I have money in the bank, but emergency savings are nice)

You never heard about this game. It was a launch release, and got the best reviews compared to the other 3 platforms.

Superb wiiu game. Haven't been playing for a while because this game ( and assasins creed 3) ended to crash my wiiu lol.
