Hacking Need advice please help

Currently I have my Wii with the following:
Firmware 3.2U
CIOS Installed
Starfall

I want to install preloader and have the following questions:

1. Will I need to reinstall CIOS after install preloader?
2. Should I just use SoftMii_0.9.5-fixed-healthscreens or just run the reploader version 26 in HBC, reboot and be done with it.
3. Are there any benifates to using SoftMii_0.9.5-fixed-healthscreens other then just installing the preloader?
4. Any gotcha's that I need to know about?

Also, I have been reading the various topics on the forums and have searched a bit. This is new territory for me so please don't just call me a N00b.
I am just looking for the advise from people on this forum as it is a wealth of knowledge.

yakboy SoftMii v.1.0.0 will be out soon! It will have the new CSM Alpha included. You can wait for the complete package or search and find the pieces.

Puma has the v.0.9.5 with the fixes in his sig.
I believe you need to start at phase 3. With ARC.
