Gaming NDSL Top Screen broken

Hey, i got a hardware problem with my Nintendo DS Lite with the top screen.
I hope i can answer this here, maybe you could help me where to post this. (any forum..?)

I already replaced the top screen but its still not working.
Before the replacement, i seen some parts of the game streched, with jitter and in grey colours.
After the replacement with a new screen, it just looks like that something different is broken.

Is it possible that both top screens are broken? Should i try another one or is it something different that is wrong with my DS?

i will try to replace it with the old top-screen again, just to see what happens then.
