Misc Nds WiFi settings? WEP or ?

The key is like the lock on your wifi. If you change the lock, you need to give the new key to anybody that needs access.

On your PC/laptop/whatever, have it scan for connections and pick yours out and enter the key.

It sounds like you have a wire coming from the wall, connecting to the router then connecting to a desktop computer. You were able to change the router's setting, via the wired desktop, to WEP to allow your DS to connect to the internet. You now need to go to your laptop and either change the wireless network connection settings from WPA down to WEP, or create a new wireless network connection using WEP.

In either case, I would change the DS settings back to Auto-Obtain IP Address.

Whenever I try to connect my ds to my router my router just turns itself off and turns itself back on again... It works when I disable my wep code but when I put the code back on it happens again! Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Update the router's firmware.
