Gaming nds lite top ribbon cable replacement, Hitachi vs. Sharp ?

Hello,
my nds lite has a broken top ribbon cable.
I therefore replaced the whole top screen with one from ebay.
Problem: The new screen got a very bad yellow taint.

I want to try to replace just the ribbon cable from the old screen. I found those deals:

Quality wise i think cables are more or less save.

There comes the questions:
1. Has anyone of you experiance replaceing just the ribbon cable?
2. Hitachi vs. Sharp, how to figure out which to buy, go by the pictures?
