Homebrew NDS Lite memory expansion pak

Is it at all possible for me to make a homebrew with only the memory expansion pak, or do I need blank ds cards or something?

You'll need a slot-1 flashcart like the AceKard 2 or an R4. These can be bought from ShopTemp.

nope you cant... possible reasons:

= slot2 device must have NDS boot code, for you to be able to boot slot2 in DS mode.. cause slot2 is booted in GBA mode by default

= hardware limitation, you cant do anything to it, its just a expansion ram that supports the application for extra memory
