so i currently have pokemon black 2 on my home screen through the forwarder, and when i hover over it, the banner seems to be the same as before i redownloaded it with the banner icon replacement. did i do something wrong? i even deleted it from my ds and reinstalled it with a new .cia version with the imported banner

If the icon is blank white, then shorten the ROM's filename.

Delete the forwarder in System Settings -> DSiWare Data Management, and then re-install the forwarder.

so forwarder3ds created both a .cia and a new .nds file for the imported banner, do i replace the .nds file in the sd/roms/nds folder as well, or just the .cia, apologies for the questions and for taking your time.

I have got to be doing something wrong, the banner still looks the same

So i must have had an old version of Forwarder3-DS because I do not have a "sdcard.nds" file on my SD card but all my forwarders have worked for a long time.

I tried to add a game today and it gave me the "wheres the sdcard.nds" error. and also the forwarder only takes up 3 blocks instead of 12 on my system?

so i tried to add the sdcard.nds file and make a forwarder cia, but when the game boots, the touch screen doesnt work. works fine in Twilight though.

is it possible to get the old Forwarder3-DS.jar version somewhere?

Did you update nds-bootstrap as well?

i just did, now the touch screen works but the top and bottom screens are flickering back and forth.

That depends on the game and clock speed.
Make sure BOOST_CPU is set to 1, in "sd:/_nds/nds-bootstrap.ini"
