Hacking NDS charging problem?

I have an NDS lite. When I plug it in to charge, the orange light flickers for a second then disappears. It turns on fine and shows the green light and red light.

I left it for around 6 months, tried it in the same plug thingy, no luck..but then when I tried another two, one of them let the ds charge. Then two days later, or today, I tried to charge it with that plug but it did not work. I tried even more around the house but same result. What's wrong with my NDS?

i had that same problem. only my DS lite stopped working altogether and wont turn on anymore. as for a solution, i haven't the foggiest idea what to do. Nintendo troubleshooting told me to send it in and they would repair/replace it.

I think the plug from the regarger or from the ds is not good maybe its a kind of broken
