Hacking Nds capture card question

Would the original ds capture card work with ds lite if you use the right solder points? I already know you can capture using r4.

Probably not as the DS lite would need the same testpoints as the og DS.

The DS Lite was designed drastically different compared to the original DS model. Based on the many times I have repaired DS Lites, there definitely doesn't seem to be any room for this sort of deal (could be wrong). Honestly though you won't get anything different when using a DS Lite other than brighter screens, even so, the screens aren't dimmed when streaming to your PC, so I don't see the point of this. Also from personal experience between the two models, the DS Lite controls are a lot mushier to deal with, they just aren't as responsive as the original DS, your experience is better geared for the original DS than the DS Lite.
