Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any way to use the NDS as a wireless controller on the wii... say, having it access only the wireless using a flashcart or something (r4 i guess), and having it run an .nds file, to appear to the wii to be a controller?

Does the question even make sense?

You mean like the PSP does remote play with the PS3? That's very doubtful because the wiimote has bluetooth, motion controls, then when it's paired with a numchuck it has more buttons and a analog stick (which the DS doesn't have either).

But if you did want this to work you'd need to run homebrew on both your DS and wii for it to work.

We need an App like this for the Ipod Touch.

Yes yes yes yes yes. D:
It would surely increase iPod sales!

You could probably code a homebrew game on Wii to do this but it would only work on 1 game and I'm not completely sure that we can take advantage of that part of the Wii to send programs to the DS and allow this to happen.

You can use the DS as a wireless gamepad for the PC (although I forgot the name of the tool and how to do that). So, if you start to play Dolphin, maybe things would - at least a little - work out. I'm no technician, but maybe a tool like wanted in the first post is possible, at least for classic emus on wii.

It would need to be specially coded into the game, you can't just make the Wii see it as if it were a classic controller or something the Wii will always see it as a DS

You're talking about DS2WIN or WIN2DS (they're actually 2 different homebrews with the same purpose)
