I can't remember because it happened last summer. But I was just wondering if it would possible to fix a pulled trace, if at all.

Trace the trace to see where it leads and replace with jumper wire or I've seen people actually lay wire in the trace track and repair. Thats for the gifted though lol.

Well, I can't really do that myself as it was my friend who did the soldiering at the time. The trace got pulled as we were putting the 3DS back together after finishing everything. Do you know of anyone I can ship the 3DS to who could fix it for me?

You cant use a usb.. you can use the cable from a usb chord, but in the end it needs to be soldered to a sd card.

I am selling my New 3DS in order to get a XL("New" of course). will i be able to restore my NNID and friend code if i copy the Nintendo 3ds folder to the XL sd card after injecting the current nand?

you cant inject the nand from one 3ds into another as they are signed per console. you can do the system transfer and then just copy everything over

I've been trying to hardmod my 2ds to get a good NAND dump before even trying to downgrade it. I've soldered everything correctly (at least, according to the pictures posted here ) but PC still doesn't detect it. I've tried a generic USB/SD adapter and an Anker 3.0 USB card reader (which has worked with my 3DS XL and new 3DS without problems) but still I get nothing on my pc (no format prompt from windows, no disks recognized by win32diskimager). Any advice?

Different reader... my transcend will read o3ds/xl. Wont read any n3ds/xl. Have to use my laptop for n3ds. If anyone knows which one reads all of them, would be convenient.

AFAIK, the Anker 3.0 I used reads all of them but the 2ds .-. I don't know what's the deal with this reader compatibility thing. I read somewhere that Trascend 15-in-1 reads 2ds though. Might give it a try

Could you post some pictures? I can't find any clean pinot pictures and completed 2ds mods. I'm modding mine soon as well.

I tried asking in different threads but noone seems to know whats up.
So I have hardmodded my n3dsxl. Read nand with 2 programs of total 3 dumps. All 3 have same md5.
The only problem seems to be that I can't write to it. I even tried writing faulty dump that I just did. Still gives an i/o error 1117 in both programs. Though USB Image Tool suggests that it's already in use, and that I should close any opened windows with it. But I don't have any(duh).
Any help appreciated.
