Hacking NAME THAT ACCESSORY!!!

Ok I'm looking for something that goes into your computer via USB and the other end has a Nintendo ds card slot. It's purpose is to rip and put saves on/off Actual Nintendo ds games. My issue is I can't remember what the name of this accessory was...??? Any ideas? Any help would be great.

Once again takes save files from real 100% legit game carts and dumps them onto your computer. Or you can take saves from your flash card and put it on the real game cart.

It does the same thing but the one I was looking at (now this was years ago) It was soul silver and heart gold compatible. Which mean it can still extract the same without the IR in the card messing it up... or something like that it's so foggy I don't remember it perfectly and I apologize

Realistically I just want something that can Take saves from my pokemon games and put them onto actual game carts. And the IR should affect the save cause I know a couple years ago that was a problem. This thing existed around pokemon platinum days and soul silver and heart gold.
I know I'm giving you bad info but it's all I can remember... I just want something similar that does the same job.

DS backup gold -- unknown if it can dump new 3DS game saves
R4 Save Dongle -- dumps 3DS game saves, newer games seem to be incomplete or corrupt when putting them back on a 3DS game
NDS Adaptor Plus -- dumps 3DS game saves, unknown if newer games dumps come out corrupt like the R4 dongle. I tested it on Etrian Odyssey IV, which uses a 1MB save, seems to work fine on the 4 tries at restoring.

All the recent backup adapters work just as well but the NDS Adaptor Plus can backup games too AFAIK. The R4i SaveDongle can't. I don't know about the last one.

No it doesn't, it doesn't dump the rom. It only uses the pinout for the save and ground.

none of them. The dumper used by the scene use all the other pinouts and ground to dump the rom.

You can dump your rom/save file with a homebrew utility and Wifi with DS BackupTool WiFi: http://kotei.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2009-11-25
You'll need to configure a FTP server in your computer and change the DS BackupTool WiFi configuration to match your FTP IP, port etc...
