Gaming [NA & EU] Official ‘Pokémon Black’ and ‘White’ Thread

I read in a thread a few pages back that if you have a Gen IV (US versions of SS/HG etc), the whole transfering to B/W for Zoroark will not work on EU version, can anyone confirm this?

I just tried it again and this time had only pokemon on the card. Still wont go past the yellow "loading" screen

Re-download the rom and try it without patching. Tell me what happens.

Unpatched freezes too. I have reformatted the SD card both quick format, regular format, and with a program linked a few pages back in this thread. Tried it with pokemon white being the only thing on the SD (besides the firmware obviously). I have tried multiple versions of the game some coming prepatched and other i patched myself. No luck

The fan translated Japanese version works fine though... as do all my other games.

All of this being on AKAIO 1.8.5a (tried it without the hotfix also).


As of typing this i tried what another user reported earlier in the thread and used the older AKAIO 1.8.1 and NOW IT WORKS!

Must be something about 1.8.5 that just a few people are experiencing that causes it not to load. Anyways, i guess ill just use 1.8.1 for now until a proper release or an update to AKAIO comes.

We get dumps at about 4 - 7 central. Or at least that's what I noticed.
And 1 day early doesn't seem like too much of a stretch.

Can you participate in NA events with the PAL version?

Like on the B&W commercials it says you can catch that fire/psychic Pokemon for a limited time. Can you catch it if you use the PAL version that was leaked?

I'm too cheap to spend 30 bucks sorry. I would gladly pay for it but I can't when I am tight. I understand though. Can't really get the games we want unless we buy them because the game makers need money to make the games it can't be for free. But that's life people find the backdoors to almost every problem.

Black with patch works without any problems on m3 ds real, no freezing or anything.

I'm debating whether or not to wait for the US version. Not sure if the European English version will contain cultural differences in the dialogue that will be lost on me. I know it's probably not a big concern, but I tend to dump over 100 hours into a Pokemon game. Every little morsel counts.
