Hardware N3DS XL warranty seal?

Am I being blind here or does the N3DS XL not have a warranty seal on the console?

I'm just about to dismantle a brand new unit to attempt a hard mod, but can see no mention of this on any tutorial.

It doesn't.

But if you hardmod it, it's pretty obvious you broke warranty.

I would imagine that if you strip any screws, scratch any internals, or otherwise make it clear that you opened it up, they would also come to the above conclusion.
