Hardware N3DS XL replacement rear inner panel?

I bought a 1/2 price 3DS XL Galaxy from Amazon Warehouse. Trouble is the shoulder buttons are beyond repair, so it will need a new inner back panel. I cant seem to find a replacement.

Is there any hope for repair or is sending it back my best option?
