I find it hard to believe Nintendo would recall all 3DSs in order to update them. Any more sources to verify this? They must be confidant the latest firmware is downgrade proof for most people.

Thanks! didnt know tesco sold em!I find it hard to believe you can't find any in-stock online, everywhere has them.
The going price for a New 3DS seems to be £140 ish and a New 3DS XL is £170.
Tesco:
New 3DS White Console £140
New 3DS XL Metallic Blue Console £170
Amazon
Game
Why not just buy the old 3DS XL for £100? i personally wouldn't say the "new" 3DS XL is worth the extra £70.
sounds like...fun.I'm here in the U.S., and have no problem finding N3DS units under $200 USD (MSRP). You could buy one, then flash it with A9LH and change it's region to EUR.

I would. The improved 3D alone makes it worth it and puts the 3D of the o3DS to shame. Having the ability to change the CPU clock to improve performance in games is nice and the c-stick is nice in the few games that use it.I find it hard to believe you can't find any in-stock online, everywhere has them.
