I'm looking to get a Hori TPU cover for my N3DSXL but I also want to get the charging cradle. From what I could tell on the old cradle you would have to remove the bottom cover to use it.

In pictures I can see a grey piece of plastic in the new design and I'm wondering if it's removable to allow space for a cover of some sort (potentially the Hori since it's licensed by Nintendo). If true then it's either one or the other as both cover pieces would need removed to use the cradle. Does anyone know if its possible to have both a cover and the cradle working together?

Here's the one on Amazon that allows zoom to see the piece I'm talking about:

I don't have an N3DSXL, but I have an N3DS and new cradle, which seem nearly identical save for size.

I took some pictures, it's fairly tight squeeze. The inner piece of plastic houses the contact mechanism, so removing it probably would not be the best course of action.

Cool thank you. Perhaps I can remove it and dremmel off the sides but leave the bottom portion in tact. There's still the concern of how much space the cover would add between the contacts and the unit itself however. I'll just have to order the cover pieces first and see how they look.

Wish Hori would release a dock charger that would fit their TPU case, tons of people would purchase. How can't they see there is a market for charging docks for people using cases.

No mention yet, but you can use an imported one all the same. They will probably be around the same price too. I may hold off and wait a while for the price to drop.

Switch 2 will be your most powerful handheld (most likely) but Nintendo has always been a generation behind Sony/ Xbox, so doubt it will get the newest of games, n if it does, will be a watered down version, like Switch 1 got

Most powerful hardly series x specs will still crap on it

Most powerful handheld I said. I imagine it won't last long tho, ROG or Steamdeck 2 will prob overpower it. I will prob buy a switch2 tho, gotta have that Mariokart 9.

I kinda doubt that also Asus will keep releasing or if Xbox doesn't come out with some handheld by then

I'm thinking of selling my current drum machine, piano keyboard, and few synthesizers, and buy a new $699 drum machine/ workstation. Downsize but upgrade. But like any device, ill never get the money I paid into it. Hard to let stuff go for half what you paid.
