My N2DS was working completely fine before I downloaded the newest firmware update, but after it finished downloading and my N2DS started to reboot it wouldn't boot to the homescreen its just stuck on a black screen. It has Luma downloaded onto the system, and I can start up GodMode9 upon startup, but when I reboot the 2ds from there it showed the same black screen. Are there any solutions that could solve this brick?

First at all: This is not a brick!
  • Please, update Luma CFW to the very latest version (extract and put boot.firm and boot.3dsx on the root of the SD card).
  • Open the Luma config menu (pressing SELECT on boot) and unmark the "Disable ARM11 exception handlers" option. Then press START.
  • Perform the Section VI of this guide (or if you want, perform the entire guide): https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup.html
  • For a future system update event, please first ask or search about if is possible update without problem or if you should do anything special before that or just wait.

Always update Luma before updating the firmware.
