Hacking My Wii won't update to 4.3

Hi, I recently softmodded my wii succsessfully according to this guide.
And I haven't update my Wii so now right it's running on firmware 4.2E, but I thought i was going to update it to 4.3 because you can softmod that firmware version as well,
so I tried to do it the regular way; trough System Update via Wi-Fi, but it didn't work.

So here are my questions:

1. Why can't I update it?
2. Should I update it?
3. Do I have to modify it again after updating?

(My Wii is modchiped with Argon with the latest firmware)

No reason to Update to 4.3... stay with urs 4.2.
4.3 just disable hacks and no improves.
But if u wanna update, then dont use Official update. that will remove all ur mods.
The best/safe/easier way to mod ur wii is ModMii. http://gbatemp.net/t207126-modmii-for-windows

I stick with my 4.2 then.
Just wanted to know the best way to update a modded wii to 4.3 in case you would need it in the future!

I have a softmod Wii and I just bought the michael jacksons game. when I play it, it says it needs an update. would I need to update it to 4.3 or just 4.2?
im not sure what version my Wii is right now but I think its 4.1U.

u can use ModMii as i told u before. but not a good idea to update to 4.3,,, keep your 4.2. And install a forwarder that will allow u to run desired boot.dol.
And don't do a Nintendo Update! that will remove ur hacks, u wont be able to bannerbomb,,, just SSBB, Indiana PWS or YUGI exploits to rehack your Wii.

Dont update it,,, Do u have Priiloader installed??? if yes, enable Block Disc Updates and Block Online Updates! if not, use MMM, reload IOS 236, and install Priiloader pressing +. To enable hacks, hold Reset while power on Wii or Keep it holded untill get Priiloader Main Menu. Then move to System Menu Hacks and enable those options i told u.
You need Hacks.ini in ur SD:/ to load it, else u will get error.
Get priiloader 0.4 r78 and hacks.ini from ModMii: http://gbatemp.net/t207126-modmii-for-windows
Type 2 in ModMii Main Menu, PRI for priiloader and HAX to hacks.ini -> type D to start download of both files.
