I decided to blog about my time in germany, as some people might actually find that stuff interesting sooo here we go,
I guess I will introduce myself first.
My name's Denis Balzer, born in Germany in a town called Stuttgart, and I am 16 years old. I moved to Canada when I was 15, which was the best thing in my life. My parents and I are having our vacation in Germany, to celebrate my brother's wedding and to see our old friends. I am staying for 1 week and I will post a little summary of my time in Germany. I will start with my first and second day as I forgot to do that yesterday.
Day 1 (August 26th): Arrived in Zurich (Switzerland) after a 12 hour flight at 9 o' clock. Took us 2 hours by car to drive to my hometown called Riedlingen. Staying at my aunts house. Ate something and then went to visit my friends. They were REALLY surprised to see me when I stood in front of their door. We went to eat Döner (turkish bread with meat and tomatoes and stuff, every german knows what this is) and then drank a couple of years for old times sake. Had an awesome time.
Day 2 (August 27th): Woke up at 9 am to see my brother getting married in the townshall. Was quite boring but it only took 15 minutes. Went to an italian restaurant afterwards to celebrate their wedding. Had a lasagne (awesome). Feels weird to order food in german. Then went home to sleep until 6 pm. Will go to a "bar" at 9 pm to meet my old classmates and some friends. Had an awesome time, though I feel like shit after drinking so much.
Day 3 (August 28th): Came back from the "bar" at 1 am, feeling like shit. Had to throw up several times after having too many vodkabull. NEVER AGAIN! Woke up at 6 am with a little headache, and huuuge stomach problems. Tried to recover until the wedding party of my brother starts, which was at 1.30 pm. Felt a little bit better by that time, but had to leave at 7pm. Felt like shit and then went to sleep. Slept for 18 hours straight.
Day 4 (August 29th): Woke up after 18 hours at 2pm. Was bored so I decided to chat with my friends. Then decided to do something with them so we went to the Dönerstube. Was pretty fun there. Got in a fight on the way back home. Got some minor wounds and scratches, nearly knocked a tooth out of my enemy. Good times. Then went home and to bed.
