Hacking My Theroy Of Getting Old Carts To Work On The DSi

You all know the homebrew nitrohax right in it you must eject your flashcart and put in a retail game and it will launch with cheats.So if somebody makes an app which lests you eject your cart and put something else in and launch it it will be able to launch other carts like cyclods m3real etc etc

Don't see how this would work now there are hacks out there now for a few of the new DSi flash cards to bypass the update as it was a global ban on anything but retail games they are obviously blocking ANY/ALL card that does not have a retail ID/Bootcode it would have to be an exploited original game card to swap with for it to work ....

The new cards also have hardware updates as well as software updates to launch on the DSi


Topic is irrelevant anyhow pretty much all card makers have released a new version card to use with the DSi anyway now!

Yeah, Koby's right. There's a very low chance that DSL-only carts will work on the DSi...

this clearly won't work.
your best bet is to wait for hacked/custom firmware to be released for the dsi that removes the flash cart blocking protection.
