I dont know if anyone has really asked this, but:

If you download a demo/full game from the PSN onto your ps3 HDD, then take out the ps3 HDD and then connect it to your comp via a SATA/II or IDE cabl, then would you be able to see the demo/full game as a file and then decrypt it?

(Just a theory)

I think there are a few barriers that you would need to get past. The first one being in order for a pc to read the PS3 HDD, it would need to be able to read the type of partition the PS3 HDD has been formatted to (which is not any familiar thing we know). However, this has already been combated with the FTP server we are able to run in JailBroken mode so that isn't the problem.

The real problem is for licensed games. Even if you copied over the decrypted files to another Playstation it won't have sufficient licensing to run it which occurs in an error. There is a work around to PSN games but I didn't say that.
