My Pro Controller's SYNC button has never been reliable, but lately it hasn't worked at all. I've taken the controller apart (to install new buttons since my ZR button broke) and everything looks fine, the button clicks and none of the connections look broken, but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any fixes?

Have you tried using a multimeter to see if the button actually makes contact?
In some case the internals of such buttons can corrode and they stop working.
Afaik this button is soldered to the pcb.
You could try to solder 2 wires to the contact point and see if the controller syncs when you connect the 2 wires.
Then you know it's the button.

Sometimes it is not the controller but the Swith and it helps completely removing the controller from the Switch settings and set it up again.

Also I believe you have to hold it down for few seconds, till light on top of controller starts flashing.

The button is probably dirty/oxidized, maybe it received a liquid spill at some point. It's easy to test with a multimeter.
Deoxit might be able to restore it to working again, or you could just replace it.

I don't have any Deoxit, but I did have some other electrical contact cleaner that did the trick! Thank you so much!
