Hacking My Nintendo Switch is banned but I can still make a System Update...

Are they really unbanning people to allow for the update?

I wonder if I can use this opportunity to redeem my Mew from my Pokeball plus

I always thought that the console wasnt banned from the update server? Also the news section on the switch still works regardless of being banned or not.

My switch is banned but I was able to connect and get the previous update. I just thought it was some fluke so didn't think about it much after that.

Its not an unban they are just allowing banned consoles to update which would break CFW all together on 6.2.0. Honestly this update just confirms we have Nintendo spies/devs keeping tabs on this site and its Switch-CFW threads. Since we do tend to boast "even if we are banned we can still play pirated games"

@ScottNBNP was banned a while ago and he could update to 6.1 when it was released

Yeah system updates are no longer behind the ban, game updates were moved behind the AUTH server, so they require nintendo network connection, but updates are free for anyone even if ya banned.

Why would anyone ever be online with hacked systems? You have no one but yourself to blame for bricking your Switch.

Usually i'm always offline when using CFW but I forgot to reboot to stock when I was updating
