If you're between the ages of 13-17 then that's why. Most people go through this, I know I did. Except I'm a jerk and tell them I did drugs/misc. illegal things in that span of time they were gone.

Regardless though, now's a good time to show a bit more responsibility to get the parents off your back. Or at least try to give the impression that you don't use the computer/internet as much as you really do.

I also have a little sister (5 years old), to take care of, and that alone takes up most of my day. Not to mention the amount of hmwk I have and my piano.

And my dad got pissed because I didn't let my sister play on my DS (I was using it at the time) and blamed it on the computer.
I think my INTERNET has become my households "number one enemy"

That make sense ... wait what,What a ds got to do with an computer? Parents limited me 1:00 am , would been fair if it was not my laptop and I was on it all day, but that not the case and actually I think the limited time did the opposite 'cause it made me try to get on any time I can. >.>

Yes. I know how to take care of my sister if my mom and dad went away for 2 wks (provided that I have enough materials (food, money, etc.).
I know SOO well, that if I were to have a baby now, I can fully take care of it (provided that I have the money)

I also do well in school (Lowest mark: 79% French).
Everything else is above that.

This is my first blog post, so go easy on me if I do something wrong.

Well, my mom believes that every single health problem I get nowadays, it's because of the computer. And no, they're not life-threatening problems. Like seriously, give me a break.

Long story short: my dad cut my internet privileges because he wanted me to spend more time studying (back in Gr. 5). I could then only go on the computer at the library or once a week on my dad's laptop. Well, I have since gotten my internet back on my computer (December 12, 2009). My mom GREATLY disapproves of that decision made by my dad, and now takes EVERY single opportunity to try to make my dad take internet away again.

Now I don't spend much time on the computer, only after school and after my homework.

So, do you think she's b*tching about this too much?

PS: And yes, if you're wondering, I have ASIAN parents.

And now all jokes aside, that's kinda harsh what they do. My parents were the same, but they're not Asian. However, I feel for you. I'm so glad I'm on my own now so they can't cut off my internet... because I pay for it.

I get limited to 10pm (regardless if it was a weekday or weekend)

That is messed up. I use my computer from the moment I get up in the morning till I go to bed. It's a useful tool for homework and research. Try using that defense and see if she gets off your back. If she doesn't believe you go to google and tell her to ask you any question and you will find the answer. I swear the internet has everything if you look hard enough.

Oh man you have asian parents like mine xD
At first they limited my 'game usage' to like one hour every weekend (1 hour saturday, one hor sunday)
But now i use the computer so much, it dosen't really matter as long as i alt+tab..

Just say you need it for research...

here's what i did with my parents;
my parent's main concern with my computer/console usage was my grades dropping.

They took me to tutoring for 6 hours on saturday and sundays,4 hours on friday afternoons.

Took away internet during the week, limited my computer usage during the weekends to 3 hours over both sat and sun.

limited my console/handheld gaming to an hour a day.

i had enough it, i spoke to them about it. told them whats the use of all these limits if i can keep my current grades as is even if they let my use the computer as long as i want or game as long as i want. they said they'll give me a term, did that and kept my grades.

sure they still comment about how i use my computer a lot or play games like crazy.but i already showed them i could keep my grades.
